Without any hesitation she exclaimed "YES I LOVE JESUS SO MUCH!!"
I knelt down there on my kitchen floor and began to weep uncontrollably as her little hand was in mine. Bryan had to compose himself before he could lead her in the prayer. It was the most precious moment in my life. Hearing her repeat those words was so precious. After we were done I said "Brailey how do you walk now?" She jumped and screamed "With power and authority!!!"
The word says in
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the
way he should go, and when he is old he won't depart from it.
We use this as a guideline to raise our children. There is such a hunger in their hearts for Jesus and the things of God that just makes me so excited that we are raising up a generation that will impact the world for Jesus. You see from the very beginning Brailey has always been the Lord's she is a gift that God gave us to take care of. There on that kitchen floor she gave herself to the Lord. To be a part of that moment....there is no words to describe it. I always prayed that Bryan and I would get to be there when she prayed that prayer, and God let us be there for it. How thankful I am for that!! I know that she will accomplish great things in her life. There are no limits to what she will accomplish!

Oh, MY...You have experienced one of the most important moments of being a parent, if not THE most important. My kids were about 2 when they did this. They were both early talkers and I had prayed and sang to them since they were born. Holly has since lead a friend to the Lord up in her bedroom. Both my kids grieve for their Dad. He has been so difficult and sometimes mean in the past few years but they still hope and pray he will be saved. To be in Heaven forever without their Dad is very upsetting to them. They so totally get God and Jesus and just don't understand how some people can be hard and proud. I Praise God that Hubby has never stood in the way of the kids and I attending church or believeing. I am Sooooo happy for you!

I'll never forget getting the previledge of doing the same with Cami. She was about 4 years old. She too hungers after the things of God. Now in Kindergarden during chapel days, I have gotten to see her with her girlfriends raising their little hands worshipping God together. It makes my heart happy!!!
